The position is for Back End Developer,

 

Our client is looking to hire a senior level back end developer to help them build a highly interactive, cutting edge website and consumer web application. The position reports directly to the CTO.

 

Location : Redwood City, CA 

Duration : 6-12 months +

Key Skills :

·         Strong Back End Development.

·         Strong experience in object oriented development, in a major language (Java, C++, etc).

Development :

·         Participate in architectural design and implementation for a high volume, data-driven consumer product.

·         Develop core application logic to support web and mobile front-end applications.

·         Iterate rapidly to optimize feature design and maximize user engagement.

·         Work with data infrastructure to scale back end services.

·         Design and deploy services that integrate with Cloud platforms.

·         Support code quality through test-driven development.

·    

Skills Requirements :

·         Track record of technical accomplishment.

·         Strong experience in object oriented development, in a major language (Java, C++, etc).

·         Expertise in data architecture design and technologies to support high performance and scalability for data visualization and predictive modeling.

·         Strong knowledge of distributed data technologies to support big data evolution of core services.

·         Proficiency in latest development technologies (Ruby on Rails, Python, etc.).

·         Desire to build world-class consumer web products with a focus on user experience, engagement, and strong visual design creativity

·         Experience with data visualization tools.

·         Ability to thrive in a fast paced and high-intensity start-up culture.

·         Strong leadership and organization skills.

·         MS/BS in computer science.
