Short Description:

Connecticut's Department of Developmental Services, (CTDDS) requires an experienced Project Manager to lead their Care Case Management workstream of projects.

 

Complete Description:

IMPORTANT NOTES (Read Fully Before Candidate Submittal):

 

Candidates MUST have a technical project management background, managing application and data migration projects specifically in a Care Case Management environment (for example: patient care/case management, health & human services environment, hospital environment, etc.) that includes experience working with HIPAA constrained data elements, and experience with electronic health records (EHR), electronic medical records (EMR), patient case management, and claims processing. If your candidate does not have that experience - DO NOT waste your time or the client's time by submitting them - they will not be considered for the position.

While the role can be fully remote, LOCAL candidates who would have the ability to be in the office in the rare case a need would arise would be IDEAL.  NOTE: Neither the client, nor CAI, will cover any related travel costs for the candidate to travel onsite.

 

This position can be a fully remote position; HOWEVER, client only wants candidates located in the Eastern Time Zone submitted for the position due to challenges they have had with candidates working from other time zones in the past.

 

Exceptional communication skills (both verbal and written) are required for this position.

Candidate should have 5+ years' experience working as part of an enterprise PMO with exposure to standard program and project tools, metrics, creating dashboards, project schedules, status reports, meetings agendas, etc.

Candidate should have a blend of communication, IT, budget and reporting skills

Communicate and facilitate consensus among stakeholders

Deliver clear, specific and respectful oral and written communications to business owners, IT program team members and management

Good understanding on IT, HR, Finance functional processes and transformation in general

This role involves translating business requirements into robust programming solutions, maintaining and enhancing custom software, and providing production support. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of the COBOL programming language, and JCL on IBM/DELL mainframe operating systems. Responsibilities:

Translate analysis and design documents, as well as specifications, into well-structured programs.

Maintain and enhance custom developed software by modifying and testing user data entry screens, batch processing, reports, queries, and menus.

Execute test program changes, update test files, run tests, review results, and ensure the correctness of program changes based on provided requirements.
