Job Description
The Director of Subscriber Forecasting will lead the development and optimization of forecasting models for subscriber growth, churn, and lifetime value (LTV). This role serves as a strategic liaison across Data Science, Marketing, Finance, and BI teams, ensuring accurate projections, informed decision-making, and optimized marketing investments. This role will help with strategic initiatives, including national and targeted promotions. The ideal candidate combines analytical expertise with strong cross-functional collaboration skills to drive business impact.

Responsibilities
Own subscriber forecasts and measure performance[VD2.1], including subscriber acquisition by cohort and short- and long-term subscriber retention in close collaboration with the Data Science, marketing and finance teams to help model revenue and future growth trends.
Lead process to collect and analyze model inputs across acquisition, retention and partnership leads to incorporate all perspectives and analyze how different promotions and platforms impact the business
Analyze subscriber growth and churn to identify factors that drive performance, describe reasons for variance to plan and identify potential levers to accelerate business growth.
Collaborate with the Data Science, Title Marketing, and Paid Media teams on developing and maintaining forecasts for new starts, churn, and subscriber base.
Act as the key liaison between Marketing, Finance, BI, and Data Science teams to ensure alignment on subscriber goals with a seamless forecasting process.
Develop platform-level forecasts and allocate marketing budgets using MMM to optimize performance across channels.
Provide regular updates on weekly and monthly reporting on pacing, actuals vs. goals, and forecast accuracy.
Partner with BI teams to automate reporting and dashboards for the executive team.
Develop promotional scenarios with incrementality goals. And perform post-promotion assessments against business case goals to measure impact.

 

Qualifications
8+ years of experience in forecasting, analytics, or strategic planning within subscription-based or media businesses.
Strong proficiency in forecasting methodologies, statistical modeling, and scenario planning.
Strong understanding of retention cohorts and curves
Advanced Excel skills; experience with BI tools and data visualization platforms (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
Proficiency in writing and optimizing SQL queries to extract, analyze, and manipulate data.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Curiosity for user experiences powered by machine learning, algorithms and recommendation systems.
Experience working with multi-platform products on mobile, web and OTT.

 

PREFERRED SKILS
Experience working in digital streaming domain
Familiarity with machine learning techniques and predictive modeling.
Ability to develop scripts in Python (or similar languages such as R) for data manipulation and modeling.
Capability to work in a fast-paced and constantly changing environment.

 

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Analytical and strategic thinker with strong business acumen.
Highly collaborative and able to work across multiple teams and priorities.[VD3.1][NM3.2][MN3.3][MN3.4]
Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and continuous improvement.
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Data Analytics, or related field; MBA preferred.

About the Role

Seeking a Business Systems Analyst with experience supporting Legal Compliance and Enterprise business functions specializing in Legal application ecosystems including iManage Zycus Ironclad CLM and integrated Salesforce platforms Proven ability to translate complex legal and regulatory requirements into scalable compliant technology solutions partnering closely with Legal Procurement Compliance Sales and IT teams Strong background in end to end process orchestration system integrations data governance and audit ready controls Success in this role requires the ability to operate across business data and automation layers bringing clarity speed and measurable outcomes to complex legal workflows

 

What Youll Do

Partner closely with Legal stakeholders to optimize and standardize legal workflows improving process automation governance and cross functional collaboration across Legal Sales and Finance

Lead end to end requirements definition to enable standardized contract intake clause governance and playbooks approval and e signature workflows and post execution obligation management

Design and leverage AI agents and workflow orchestration capabilities to automate complex end to end business processes with built in governance exception handling security and access controls and operational oversight

Define and track success metrics to measure cycle time reduction elimination of manual handoffs user adoption and compliance with legal and regulatory requirements

Assess upstream and downstream impacts across integrated systems documenting system interactions data dependencies integration touchpoints and exception paths

Translate legal and compliance requirements into clear functional specifications including process flows user stories and acceptance criteria ensuring alignment with regulatory audit and control standards

Drive UAT readiness and execution including test planning end to end scenario validation and stakeholder coordination to ensure solutions meet business and Legal expectations

Collaborate with Development QA Information Security and Enterprise Architecture to deliver solutions that are secure scalable and aligned with enterprise standards

 

What You Bring

Required Skills

3-5+ years proven experience across the full Contract Lifecycle Management CLM process including contract intake and authoring legal review and approvals execution and downstream obligation tracking

5 years of Business Systems Analyst experience supporting large scale enterprise applications in a global environment

Strong experience supporting enterprise Legal application platforms including iManage for document management CLM solutions like Ironclad Zycus Conga across contract workflows Salesforce CRM

Proven ability to use rapid prototyping or AIassisted development techniques eg Vibe Coding low codeno code or similar approaches to accelerate solution validation and delivery

Experience working in Agile and iterative delivery environments including backlog refinement sprint planning incremental releases and rapid feedback loops

Strong communication skills with the ability to present complex technical concepts clearly and concisely to a variety of audiences

Comfortable collaborating with business stakeholders to navigate ambiguity align priorities and drive outcomes in fast moving environments

Bachelors or Masters degree in Systems Engineering Computer Science Management Information Systems MIS Software Engineering or a related field

 

Preferred Skills

Experience working in complex global and highly integrated enterprise environments

Experience in the hightech or semiconductor industry supporting complex global and highly integrated business processes

Experience designing and leveraging AI agents and workflow orchestration to automate end to end business processes

Salesforce certifications a plus
