Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Data & Analytics Lead to drive the design, implementation, and evolution of an enterprise measurement framework supporting the launch and commercialization of a specialty pharmaceutical product.
This role combines strategic consulting, analytics leadership, client engagement, and hands-on delivery. The ideal candidate will work directly with business stakeholders, brand teams, commercial operations, omnichannel marketing teams, and analytics partners to establish actionable measurement capabilities spanning pre-launch and post-launch phases.
The successful candidate will lead the development of launch performance metrics, HCP engagement measurement, patient adoption tracking, omnichannel effectiveness frameworks, and executive-level performance reporting while guiding a team of BI and analytics professionals.
Key Responsibilities
Measurement Strategy & Framework Development
- Design and implement an enterprise measurement framework to assess launch readiness and post-launch performance.
- Define and standardize KPIs across HCP engagement, patient adoption, prescribing behavior, omnichannel effectiveness, field force impact, and business outcomes.
- Develop measurement strategies covering awareness, consideration, trial, adoption, persistence, and advocacy stages of the customer journey.
- Establish KPI governance, metric definitions, business rules, and reporting standards.
Commercial Analytics & Insights
- Lead development of HCP 360, Patient 360, Account 360, and Commercial Performance reporting solutions.
- Build customer engagement frameworks and composite engagement indices across field, digital, media, and third-party channels.
- Analyze promotional effectiveness and identify drivers of adoption, engagement, and prescribing behavior.
- Generate actionable insights supporting Next Best Action, customer segmentation, and campaign optimization initiatives.
Client Engagement & Consulting
- Serve as the primary analytics partner for client stakeholders.
- Facilitate requirements workshops, KPI definition sessions, business reviews, and executive presentations.
- Translate business objectives into analytical solutions and reporting strategies.
- Present insights and recommendations to commercial leadership and cross-functional teams.
Data & BI Leadership
- Partner with Data Engineering teams to define data requirements and support data product development.
- Guide development of integrated datasets across CRM, claims, prescription, patient, digital engagement, media, field activity, and marketing channels.
- Drive implementation of scalable reporting and self-service analytics solutions.
- Ensure data quality, governance, and measurement consistency across brands and functions.
Team Leadership
- Lead offshore analytics and BI delivery teams.
- Manage sprint planning, backlog prioritization, stakeholder communication, and delivery governance.
- Mentor BI developers and analysts while promoting best practices in analytics and visualization.
Technical Skills (Must Have)
- Strong experience in pharmaceutical commercial analytics, omnichannel measurement, or launch analytics.
- Expertise in KPI framework development and performance measurement.
- Advanced SQL and data analysis skills.
- Experience working with claims, prescription, patient, CRM, engagement, and marketing datasets.
- Strong knowledge of Power BI, Tableau or equivalent BI platforms.
- Experience with cloud data platforms such as Databricks, AWS, Redshift, or Snowflake.
- Understanding of customer journey analytics and omnichannel measurement methodologies.
- Experience building executive dashboards and performance scorecards.
Good to Have
- Specialty pharmaceutical or rare disease launch experience.
- Knowledge of HCP targeting, segmentation, customer engagement scoring, and NBA programs.
- Exposure to machine learning applications in commercial analytics.
- Experience with Veeva CRM, IQVIA, Symphony, Komodo, or similar healthcare data sources.
- Familiarity with customer 360 and data product initiatives.

- Ability to independently manage client relationships and strategic discussions.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking.
- Experience leading distributed delivery teams.
- Ability to influence stakeholders across commercial, marketing, analytics, and technology organizations.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Computer Science, Statistics, Life Sciences, or related field.
- Master’s degree in Analytics, Business Administration, Data Science, or related discipline preferred.
