JOB DESCRIPTION:        

UI Designer – Job Duties

Design intuitive, user-centric experiences for web and mobile applications

Translate business and user requirements into:

• User journeys
• Wireframes
• High-fidelity UI designs

Create mockups and interactive prototypes using:

• Figma (primary tool – mandatory)
• Adobe XD
• Balsamiq

Review existing Figma files and standardize designs by:

• Creating centralized design systems (colors, typography, spacing)
• Building reusable component libraries
• Defining component variants and states
• Aligning existing screens to standardized design patterns

Establish and maintain a scalable Figma library for consistency across applications

Create new Figma design files for additional applications by:

• Reusing and adapting existing design patterns
• Ensuring consistent UI/UX across multiple applications

Conduct user research and usability testing to validate design decisions

Apply UX best practices, design thinking, and usability principles

Continuously improve designs based on:

• User feedback
• Usability testing results
• Analytics insights

Collaborate with product, business, and development teams for design alignment

Present and clearly articulate design concepts and rationale to stakeholders

Support development teams with design specifications and handoffs

Contribute to and enforce UI standards, design guidelines, and best practices
