JOB DESCRIPTION:
Experience: 8 to 12 years
The D2 role is accountable for developing Value Stream capabilities, including processes, data, IT solutions, applications, and overarching ecosystems aligned with the Value Stream Architect vision and plans. This position ensures technology consistency, drives governance, and informs strategic decisions across the domain.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and enforce technology policies, standards, and patterns.
Ensure solutions, data, and processes across the Value Stream adhere to approved technology standards.
Inform business strategy, identify new investment opportunities, and guide funding allocations.
Make Value Stream-level architecture decisions and validate delivered work against approved designs.
Propose and describe necessary work based on technical dependencies and tech debt across the domain.
Manage New York Life Information Technology Governance processes
Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure alignment with architectural vision and plans.
Experience Required
Primary Skills:
Enterprise Architecture and Value Stream design.
Strong knowledge of IT governance frameworks.
Expertise in technology standards, patterns, and policy development.
Hands-on experience with ecosystem integration and application architecture.
Secondary Skills:
Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
Understanding of data governance and security standards
Exposure to Agile methodologies and DevOps practices.
Qualifications
Experience: 8 to 12 years in technology architecture or enterprise-level solution design.
Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
Certifications (Preferred): TOGAF, SAFe, or equivalent architecture frameworks.
