Work will be conducted both on-site at the Department of Financial Services, Office of Information Technology, located at 101 East Gaines Street, Tallahassee, Florida as well as through authorized telework.

In the event of second round interviews, face to face interviews may be required.

Scope: The Department needs services to support the Department’s Office of Information Technology (OIT) in a multiyear effort to manage the development and implementation of security standards, ensure adherence to industry norms, and enhance work methods to strengthen security. The Contractor must provide the qualified Security Manager (3. Sr. Manager) proposed in its Response and selected by the Department, who has the experience and ability to fulfill the requirements of this Statement of Work (SOW). Although the project is a multiyear effort, the term of this agreement will end on the date specified.

Contractor Responsiblities: Security Manager Task List. The Contractor, through the Contractor Representative it provides, shall perform the following tasks as necessary to complete work for the OIT as assigned by the Department’s Contract Manager:

1. Manages the development and delivery of IT security standards, best practices, architecture and systems to ensure information system security across the enterprise.
2. Implements processes and methods for auditing and addressing non-compliance to information security standards; facilitates migration of non-compliant environments to compliant environments.
3. Conducts studies within and outside the organization to ensure compliance with standards and currency with industry security norms.
4. Manages and participates in the planning and implementation of security administration for all IT projects.
5. Assists in implementing changes to work methods and procedures to make them more effective or to strengthen security measures.

Content of Resumes

Resume / Responses must include:

1. The full, legal name of the proposed Consultant.
2. The Consultant’s resume (consisting of no more than three (3) pages and including the Consultant’s educational qualifications), demonstrating fulfillment of the minimum qualifications
3. The Skills Matrix. The Department will reject a Response that fails to include responses to the “Mandatory Qualifications” and “Preferred Qualifications” for a Consultant.
