General Description:

 

§  This position will develop application and business integration solutions using a variety of programming languages and technologies in order to provide business solutions to customers

 

Detailed Description:

 

§  Responsible for the development, maintenance and integration of applications and systems that support the business operations.

§  Responsible for having the knowledge of the tools and languages used to develop, maintain and execute systems.

§  Develop, Test and analyze SQL Server Procedural and T-SQL code, SSRS Reports and SSIS packages for new and existing applications.

§  Responsible for understanding and leveraging approaches for designing, developing, testing, debugging applications and assisting with issues.

§  Responsible for understanding the business, business objectives and current business challenges within the supported business area.

§  Responsible for acting as an internal consultant, and mentor to more junior staff. Provides task-level leadership, guidance, and direction.

§  Responsible for complying with all Company Information Services policies and standards and ensuring appropriate security and privacy measures are implemented on technology solutions to protect Company data from intentional or accidental misuse.

§  Pursues Operational Excellence in all endeavors, striving on a routine basis through identification and implementation of continuous process improvements.

 

1^st Required Skill:  3 - 5 years  ASP.NET, VB.NET or C# (VB.NET preferred)
2^nd Required Skill: 2+ yrs MS SQL2008 or 12 / T-SQL code(stored procedure, functions, table) 
3^rd Required Skill:  3 -5 yrs writing code in JavaScript / JQuery / HTML/ CSS/ XML/ AJAX/ Web Services

4^th Required Skill: Strong experience working with windows server (especially IIS)

5^th Required Skill: Strong Web Development experience

6^th Required Skill: Experience working with Team Foundation Server

7^th Required Skill: Experience in one or more SDLC methodologies(e.g. agile scrum) for iterative development.

 

Not required/but prefer some experience with:

SVN

MVC (ASP.NET)

Entity Framework (ADO.net)
