Network Administrator

Location: East Peoria, IL

Duration: 12 months +

 

Required Qualifications:

- Specific experience in WLAN packet analysis; intrusion detection, performance analysis, and design.

- An in-depth understanding of both wireless and wired network technology is essential with knowledge of 802.11 (a,b,g) wireless networking, 802.1x, 802.11i, EAP, TTLS, TKIP, Radius, and radio frequency communication principals.

- Knowledge of wireless site surveys, network design and implementation.

- TCP/IP fundamentals (VLSM/CIDR), Ethernet, QoS, IP Subnetting, Cabling (copper & fiber), OSPF, VLAN Trunking, VLANs, and switching configuration.

- Knowledge of Risk Domains, Tiered Domains, Ethernet, QoS, IP.

- Computer-related or Engineering-related four year College or University Degree or four to six years of progressively responsible IT job-related experiences.

 

Desired Qualifications:

- Cisco Certified Network Associate.

- Cisco Wireless Network Administrator.

- Relevant work experience with medium to large companies
