Oracle Financial Functional Analyst
Location: Omaha, NE
Duration: 6+ Months
The resource is required to have experience in Oracle Financial modules especially with GL, AP, AR, Project Accounting (PA) as a must. Having some experience working with Project Treasury and iExpense will put the candidate over the top.
Duties/Responsibilities:
• Partner with the business area to document business requirements and design functional and technical specifications.
• Perform planning, design, development, configuration and implementation of corporate systems.
• Perform ongoing maintenance and support regarding application upgrades and improvements to processes and procedures.
• Perform system testing and assist in end user testing.
• Interact with business to understand their needs and create business requirement documents, System Configuration documents, test plans and test cases, user training documents and communications to users.
• Perform gap analysis to determine configuration and development changes.
• Coordinate user testing of system enhancements, patches and upgrades.
• Build SQL queries to troubleshoot issues and create ad-hoc reporting as needed.
• Perform training to business as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
MUST: GL, AP, AR, Project Accounting (PA)
Good to Have: Project Treasury and iExpense
• Strong knowledge in Accounting/Finance principles and concepts.
• Detailed functional knowledge of Oracle Financials 12.1.3 application including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Cash Management, Projects, Treasury and I-Expense.
• Oracle EBS implementation and/or upgrade experience required.
• Strong analytical skills applied to understanding business functionality and translating them into ERP requirements.
• Ability to effectively interact with all levels of company personnel and maintain effective working relationships.
• Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Solid understanding of business requirements analysis techniques, business process engineering, user acceptance testing and change management techniques.
• Experience in engaging Oracle support in researching and resolving issues.
• Highly motivated and aggressive in identifying and solving business problems.
• Strong knowledge of underlying Oracle tables and integration points.
• Self-motivated, but able to work independently or in a team environment.
• Experience in prioritizing competing demands, scoping large efforts and negotiating timelines are necessary skills.
• Good time management, documentation, organizational, communication and project management skills.
• Ability to comprehend organizational policies and procedures.
