Title: Data Modeler 

Location: Mountain View, CA

Duration: 6-12 Months 

 

Required Skill Set: Relational and Dimensional  Data Modeling, Oracle, Teradata, SQL

·         Minimum 6 years of experience in data modeling 

·         Has a thorough understanding of at least one of the standard industry data modeling tools, including: 

o    Erwin

o    ER/Studio

o    Power Designer 

o    IBM Rational Data Architect 

·         Strong understanding of data warehouse concepts and DW support process. 

·         The candidate will have at least 8 years of experience of rolling out large database projects with hands-on knowledge 

·         Excellent SQL skills with the ability to validate data model functionality and performance using SQL 

·         Experience in Database performance tuning, optimization and maintenance 

·         Foundational basis of practice in ER modeling and practical application of Normalization rules

·         Experience applying dimensional design theory to information delivery solutions 

·         Good interpersonal and communication skills

·         Ability to own problems through to implementation 

·         Ability to work in order to make tight deadlines
