Role : Java Consultant
Locations: Cupertino,CA
Duration: 6 Months Contract
Job Description:
• Should have prior implementation experience in the end to end development of j2ee application including deployment.
• Participate in client discussions, interact with business analysts and execute knowledge transfer sessions from client and partner stakeholders
• Need to ensure a smooth transition from the customer end on the existing application.
• Able to do design and build activity for major and minor requests which meet the functional and non-functional requirements and is in conformance to the architecture
• Have good communication skills and have experience earlier working in onsite-offshore model.
• Work as a leadand be the end to end contact with customer on all project level details and own bottom line responsibility of overall Project delivery
Skills :
Candidate should have experience in the above responsible activities, while developing real world solutions specifically in any of the following areas as their primary skill:
• 10+ years of hands on experience in Java/J2EE development
• 3-5 yrs of experience in an lead role
• Excellent communication skills to communicate with folks with varied experience
• lead and delivered at least 2 end-to-end enterprise JAVA/J2EE solutions in spring and hibernate.
• Ability to lead solutions by mapping customer business problems to end-to-end technology solutions
• Exceptional demonstrated consulting skills
• Effective in fostering executive level relationships
• Resourceful, confident under pressure, and has demonstrated skill in both expectation and crisis management
• Strong experience on JAVA/J2EE Integration technologies/ Frameworks is mandatory.
• Should have worked extensively on Spring and Hibernate frameworks
• Hands-on experience in at least one development tool
• Experience should clearly demonstrate Industry patterns adopted, applied articulating the trade-offs and compromises adopted toward meeting the non-functionals
• Providing detailed reliable solutions and developing statements of work and estimates for service implementations
• Able to do design and coding in spring and hibernate
• Strong practical experience of performance engineering at all layers is required with experience in techniques such as profiling (manual & automated) is essential.
