Job Description:

Primary responsibilities

Work as part of development team to help build infrastructure, software, and processes for Windows OS remote upgrade on Client IoT devices.

Required knowledge and skills

In-depth understanding of Windows operating systems, including installation, upgrade, driver management, configuration, virtualization, custom shell development, and OS imaging.

Ability to script and automate tasks using Windows PowerShell.

Strong troubleshooting skills for resolving both server-side and client-side issues.

Knowledge of basic networking concepts, such as DHCP and DNS, and troubleshooting network connectivity issues.

Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Experience authoring documentation for end-users and/or field engineers.

Basic requirements

Bachelor's degree in computer science or relevant experience

Preferred knowledge and skills

Microsoft Deployment Toolkit (MDT) and Task Sequence (TS).

Experience working with virtualized Windows environments.

Experience installing and upgrading Microsoft SQL server software.
