Job Title: Technical Project Manager - Data and Analytics  

Location: Houston, TX/ Hybrid

Position type: Long term Contract

 

Job Description:-

Lead technical and business meetings, as well as facilitate scrum calls. This individual will serve as a key liaison between the business and development teams.

Additionally, strong documentation skills are essential, as the documentation will be a critical driver for our data teams.

Below are some key points that we are looking for this person to help us with.

 

Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC), system architecture, and cloud technologies.

Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure management.

Experience leading large-scale, cross-functional technical programs from inception to completion.

Strong ability to manage dependencies, risks, and issue resolution.

Proficiency in project management tools (JIRA, Confluence).

Ability to work with Data engineering, governance, reporting and business teams to align business roadmaps.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills for both technical and non-technical audiences.

Previous Experience in Snowflake or Data Bricks or DB Tool or Informatica ETL

Ability to use data analytics tools (Excel, SQL, Tableau, MSTR)

Continuous process improvement mindset to optimize program execution.

Ability to define project scope, objectives, deliverables, and success criteria.

Expertise in project planning, resource allocation, and timeline management.

Proficiency in project management methodologies (Waterfall, Agile, scrum, Hybrid, kanban).

Experience handling change management processes and adapting project strategies accordingly.

Excellent stakeholder management and the ability to work cross-functionally.

Ability to lead teams, foster collaboration, and resolve conflicts.

Experience tracking project performance using key metrics (budget, timeline, scope).
