Position: Senior Network Engineer

Location: 98% Remote - POTENTIAL Travel to Tampa, FL or Greenville, North Carolina

98% Remote with POTENTIAL Travel to Tampa, FL or Greenville, North Carolina. This is mostly a Remote position and no Guarantee of Travel just a potential chance of travel to one of the Data Centers

 

 

Required Skills:

Fortinet Next-Generation Firewall (NGFW) Installation/Implementation/Troubleshooting of Fortinet Next-Generation Firewall (NGFW) Training to Other Network Engineers on the Team to help Learn/Teach/Educate them on Fortinet Next-Generation Firewall (NGFW)

 

 

Day to Day Responsibilities/typical day look like:

• Changing fiber roles
• Routing issues – 2 weeks ago they had a routing issue on the Fortinet side
• Tickets requesting some ports or application open
• Working in parallel on the Cisco deployment project – coordinating with the implementation team to open the ports and routes to z-scaler
• General daily activities and some small projects
• Helping the Tech Data team to better understand Fortinet
