Infrastructure Lead / Java

Description:

1. Good Java/J2EE 2- 5 experience; overall 7 -10 years experience

2. Acts as point of contact for all infrastructure activities including procuring DEV/TEST environments; Procuring various access permissions

3. Follow up with external SW engg. groups / DB Engg. groups to resolve pending infrastructure / access issues

4. Use TempRoot access to pulls out log files for others; resolves JVM crashes; performs diskspace cleanup

5. Review and provide guidance on system design for various new development activities within batch process & application features

6. Support various application teams on components integration issues (triages)

7. Uber jar - Manage dependencies, coordination with teams, maintain release stacks, support application teams in integration

8. Build and release management during on-shore hours

9. System administration

10. Excellent communication and ability to drive outcomes

11. Infrastructure knowledge (Unix scripting, Unix servers, WAS, JVM)
