Role :Business Intelligence Support Analyst
located in Tennessee

BI Support Analyst:

 

Qualifications/Requirements: • Associates degree or greater (or equivalent experience). • Some formal programming or system administration training. • System administration experience is required. • 3+ Years of system administration and configuration of any of the following tools: SAS (preferred), Cognos, WebFOCUS, Business Objects, Tableau • Experience with SAS running under AIX is desirable. • Experience connecting or interfacing applications to multiple RDBM systems (ie., including DB2/UDB, Sybase and SQL Server) • Familiarity with deployment of web applications in a Java environment (ie., Tomcat, Web Sphere, JBOSS, etc.) • Experience working in Unix/AIX environments. • SAS programming exposure is desirable. • Excellent communication skills are required (verbal and written). Comments: Functions • Participate in dev/test platform administration of our BI System software, including installation and upgrades, patches and hot fixes • Add new users to the appropriate dev/test systems. • Monitor and troubleshoot the dev/test BI environments • Regular communications of technical plans with project team and management • Coordinate installation and testing of development tools • Assist with troubleshooting system issues • Participate in evaluation of BI products if any component of the environment changes
