Schaumburg, IL

Duration:12+ months

Top Three Skills:                     1) SQL Server SSIS development for DW

2) experience with Cube Design

3) working with SSRS to develop complex reports.

Job Description:                     

-          The Senior Application Developer supports business and manufacturing process through technology solutions. Very strong, experienced building solutions using Microsoft SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) for data warehousing. Ability to acquire a deep understanding of complex business processes and interact effectively with the business partners in the manufacturing area. The purpose of the role is to develop business software solutions for complex and large scale projects through object and data modeling, database design, programming, quality assurance, and implementation support.

For Data Warehouse:

-          Extensive knowledge of relational and multi-dimensional data design and development techniques including star schema, snowflake schema, cube design, ETL and others.

-          Experience (5+ years) with data warehousing tools such as MS SQL Server, SSIS.

-          Experience (5+ years) with reporting and analytic presentation tools and technologies with SSRS, Cognos, ProClarity, Excel Pivot Table Service for OLAP.
