We have an urgent requirement for JavaScript Developer and Brooklyn, NY.
JavaScript DeveloperLocation: Brooklyn, NYDuration: 6 months+Phone & In-person. Responsibilities: - Must haves (in general order)
- Strong Javascript - Use of frameworks like - jquery, knockout, angular, backbone, batman, ember, meteor, spine, node, ecmascript, etc.
- Strong object oriented programming – Java, C++, C, C#, ASP, .Net (though C#/ASP/.Net is preferred)
- Unit testing
- Preferred - Agile and front end development
- Soft skill Keys
- Love coding AND hands on as a coder today
- Reasonably strong communication skills (have turned candidates down for communication concerns)
- Willingness/ability to wear many hats; work closely with BA, do testing, work with end users, etc. (so candidates from large corporate backgrounds may not fit...)t
- Will consider candidates in the 3+ year range, though 5-7 seems to be the sweet spot.
