Position: Oracle OR FIX Developer

Location: Jersey City, NJ

Duration: 6 Months+

NOTE:Oracle Developer with Strong Trade Floor Experience will also do if FIX is not available

Job Description:

• Resource with 6 to 9 years of experience
  
• 4 years of experience in Oracle.
  
• Rich Technical Skills in Unix, Shell Scripting, and Perl with minimum 6 years of experience.
  
• 2 years of experience with FIX.
  
• SWIFT and Messaging knowledge.
  
• Prior experience in handling business requests in Trade Floor.
  
• Prior experience in Batch Scheduling in Cron, Control-M
  
• Ability to technically re-design the scheduling based of Business Requirements
  
• Exposure to Disaster Recovery operations and processes involved around this
  
• Excellent communication skills – to be able to manage and set the right expectations and live by it
  
• Ability to adapt to the environment and learn quickly
  
• Familiar with Order Routing mechanisms from Application to Exchanges
  
• Candidates who have a prior experience in working with Program Trading or Direct Market Access Trading are preferred
  
• Candidates who have a prior experience in any Trading Floor environment will be an added advantage.
