Position:          Senior Oracle 11g DBA with RAC, Linux, ASM and Data Guard experience

Location:          MO

Duration:           Long Term

Min Experience: 10+ Years.

           

 

We are looking for an expert 11g RAC DBA with the following skills for an immediate contract opportunity. Please apply with all the details for an immediate interview and potentially starting in a week.  

Specific Tasks will include:

·        Support/Administer/Maintain existing Oracle Database systems

·        Architect/Build/Maintain an Enterprise Data Repository

·        Perform R&D to improve and replace existing DB systems

·        Create and Track metrics for each app/sub-app.

·        Capacity Planning and data growth management

·        Assist Application DBA's in supporting the development teams and product group needs

Qualifications:

·        Expert in handling large Oracle 11g Linux Production 24x7 multi node RAC Database

·        Expert in Oracle RAC, ASM Storage, Physical Standby Databases, Oracle Data Guard, and Oracle 11g Cluster ware

·        Guru in switchover and failover techniques

·        Experience automating database installs

·        Database monitoring and alerting experience

·        Performance/tuning knowledge and experience

·        Strong communication and collaboration skills

·        Strong understanding of data security
