This is 3 - 6 months (extension possible) Position based in Hartford, CT.

Job Description:
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
· This position requires full accountability for the integrity of the data reported on the BI QA dashboard, MOR and ECO reports that are provided to the SLT, QA and Release Management.
· Conducts internal audits to ensure QA organization complies with QA processes and standards.
· Performs analysis and provides data trends to QA Leadership, Release Management and ECO.
· Ensures tools/reporting capabilities are available and functioning properly in support of the organization.
· Acts with a sense of urgency regarding tool outages.
· Prepares and facilitates process flows and documentation, training materials and presentations.
· Works with stakeholders to prioritize requirements effectively based on business value, risks and constraints.
· Collaborates with Product Owners, Vendors and ECO on all tool/metrics related upgrades and issues.
· Develops collaborative working relationships throughout the IT and business organizations to accomplish mutual goals.
· Able to influence people at a variety of levels internally and externally.
· Responsible for not only the generation of data but the assessment and assertions as to what the data is indicating and ensuring stakeholders develop the necessary action plans
REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
· Proficient in Quality Assurance processes.
· proficient as administrator of ALM/Quality Center and associated plug-in's Rally, BluePrint, HP Agile Manager Integration or equivalent test management tool.
· Deep understanding of effective metrics-driven decision-making and potential pitfalls
· experienced in developing quality metrics and reporting and proven critical thinking skills
· Keen aptitude for arithmetic and statistics with an expert-level skills with metrics processing, tabulation and charts.
· Strong hands-on experience with calculation and charting tools such as Microsoft Excel.
· SQL or Cognos knowledge or experience a plus.
· Ability to influence people at a variety of levels internally and externally.
· Ability to work in a highly dynamic, flexible and collaborative environment; experience with change control in small to large scale, complex development projects, managing risks and issues effectively.
· Experience working in a variety of software development methodologies (waterfall, agile etc.), with experience in Agile being preferred.
· Superior problem solving skills.
· Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to communicate with Information Technology and Business Leadership.
