Position: Weblogic/Java Deployment Engineer 
Work Location: McLean, VA

Duration: 12 Months

Total Openings: 2

 

Basic Skills:-

·        Bachelor's degree (computer Science or engineering preferred) or equivalent work experience.

·        At least 5- 7 years of software development experience

·        Experience with development lifecycle activities analysis, design, development, integration and implementation of technical solutions.

·        Strong Java/J2EE, Weblogic, SQL/RDBMS (UDB/DB2/Oracle/Sybase), Shell, L/Unix Skills

·        Hands-on experience with Build and Deployment tools (Jenkins) and languages - ANT and Shell script

·        Experience with Change management tools (Remedy)and Source Code Management (Clear Case)

·        Experience in production support activities, which include trouble shooting and data correction activities.

·        Quick Learner of business and technology.

·        Good Analysis skills and ability to multi task.

·        Good written and verbal communication skills.

·        Proactive in nature and good team player.

·        Excellent problem-solving, problem-identifying skills.

·        Self-motivated individual with high quality solution

·        Able to work with limited direction

Responsibilities:-

·        Analyze the deployment requirements

·        Deploy new code/modification existing application code

·        Develop deployment script

·        Develop/Review Deployment plans

·        Leverage deployment and change management tools (Remedy, Clearcase, Jenkins)

·        Identify environment requirements to meet project development and testing needs

·        Manage code version control

·        Coordinate with development team for any deployment failures and testing activities with testers.

·        Collaborate with the Infrastructure Support, Unix System Administrators and Database Administrators

·        Provide production and post-production support activities
