Job Description:

 

Project Overview:

 

The Nevada Child Care System (NCCS) and Investigations and Recovery Information System (IRIS) are two (2) Java J2EE web applications that use FileNet P8 3.5 to store and retrieve case management content such as reports and notices.  Our Client currently uses Central Document Management System (CDMS), which is a custom version of FileNet P8 3.5 Workplace, to retrieve content.  This is very cumbersome and this version of FileNet has been out of support for many years.  Content is added to the Object Stores using FileNet API's.  Our client wishes to migrate the content to FileNet P8 5.2, and develop search modules for NCCS and IRIS.

 

This is a contract with a tentative start date of early April 2015, with an end of June 30, 2015, with a possible extension.

Selected candidate can select to work 90% of time off site.

 

Note: Candidates must be able to pass a criminal background check

Note: Client will hire from phone interview

Note: Work schedule: Carson City, Nevada 10% of time onsite  & 90% off site, at 40 hours per week

 

Required Skills and Experience:

 

·         FileNet P8 3.5.4.5 and 5.2

·         Ability to migrate the content to FileNet P8 5.2

·         Java J2EE Programming

·         JSP Web Pages

·         Websphere

·         Consultant must be a Java J2EE expert with considerable FileNet and WebSphere experience to do the below tasks: 

·         Develop the JSP web pages and business/enterprise layers in IRIS and NCCS to search for and retrieve content from the Object Stores.

·         Migrate all the API's in the NCCS and IRIS web and batch applications to FileNet P8 5.2 API's.

·         FileNet Workplace or any other product to retrieve content will not be used.

·         Provide a detailed System Requirement Document (SRD)

·         IBM Rational Application Developer v9 (RAD 9) must be used and compiled using Java 1.6 and WebSphere 7 runtime.

·         Consultant must work with the Test Team to fix all defects.

·         Consultant must submit detailed weekly reports to the Project Manager of all work performed.

·         Consultant must work closely with the IRIS and NCCS developers and the Operations Group.
