We are looking for a Oracle DBA Consultant to support world's leader in providing IT consulting and software services to the finest global organizations client.

This is 6 Months Contract based in Oak Brook, IL.

 

Role: Oracle DBA Consultant

Location: Oak Brook, IL

Duration: 6 Months Contract

 

Job Description:

•             Should have 8-10 years of experience in Oracle Database Administration in SAP platforms

•             Installation of oracle 9i/10g/11g single instance and Multinode RAC

•             Installation and Administration of  Oracle Data guard on Oracle 9i/10g/11

•             End-to-end  Database administration in various Oracle RDBMS versions  on both Production and Non-Production systems

•             Experience in Database Design preferred but not mandatory

•             Experience in managing Very large Database

•             Administer Oracle Databases in archive log and no archive log modes

•             Capacity planning

•             Space Management at OS and Database level

•             Proactive management of Archive logs

•             Experience in Backup and Recovery including

•             Design backup policy

•             Create and Maintain Backup and Recovery procedures and Test restores as required

•             Performance tuning

•             Instance level and Database level tuning

•             Deep Understanding of Capacity utilization

•             Experience in ITIL process
