[xrecnet] Need: Test Automation Architect @ REMOTE

Below are the details of an urgent requirement that needs to be filled by next week.

 

  • We are looking for Test Automation Architect
  • 5+ years of architectural experience
  • Client is working on Cypress Framework, if you find someone with Cypress experience it's a closure.
  • If not look for strong JavaScript - Angular JS/Node JS/React JS application stack
  • No client round, two Tavant internal round and we will onboard the candidate

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

•             5+ years' experience developing automated tests for web application

•             Required proficiency in automating UI tests - Cypress

•             Automated test frameworks such as Cypress (preferred), Jest, Mocha, Watchmen, Rainbow, and Chatter

•             Coding/Scripting experience with JavaScript library frameworks - Angular JS(preferred), but experience with Ember, React, JQuery UI, Vue. JS

•             5+ years' experience decomposing user stories/requirements to create manual and automated tests in an Agile environment.

•             Extensive knowledge of creating and leveraging mocks, stubs, and virtual services to fulfill test automation requirements.

•             Extensive knowledge of software engineering best practices for the full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control, build and release processes, continuous integration and continuous deployment concepts (CI & CD), and test suite development and maintenance.

•             Experience working with Travis CI

•             Strong written and verbal communication skills.

•             Assist the Digital Channel Technology organization to build and implement a world-class test framework that tightly integrates with our CI/CD pipeline to fully automate release and delivery processes by preparing, reviewing, revising, and maintaining process and technical documentation

•             Directly responsible for enabling and automating streamlined release and test execution reporting

•             Leads our sprint level release practice enabling the right coverage with our evolving frameworks (Unit, Component, E2E) alongside reporting.

•             Collaborate with Web, API testers & developers and DevOps engineers and provide constant feedback to continuously improve test strategy.

•             Assess the platform and assist with selection of appropriate unit, component, and system integration test automation tools and frameworks that enable automated build and deployment routines.

•             Assist with defining approach for each phase of testing; unit, component, and system integration; while maximizing code and test coverage.

•             Review technical specifications and program code with an emphasis on testability to ensure clean code development: readability, changeability, extensibility and maintainability.

•             Analyze the business requirements and assist technical leads and Product Owners with defining the acceptance criteria for the features that are being developed.

•             Actively monitor post-release metrics to identify any defects that leaked into production.

•             Continuously improve test bed and write tests that expose the defect before any fix is attempted.

•             Evaluate existing testing methodologies and suggest new techniques that will help deliver high-quality features faster.

•             Improve, maintain, standardize, and execute automated testing across the full solution stack.

•             Maintain a solid understanding of QA workflows and test automation best practices.

•             Knowledge of mobile automation tools

•             Knowledge of automated build management tools
