Job Title: Lead/Sr. Java API Developer

Location: Tempe, AZ/Remote

Duration: 6+ Months Contract

 

Looking for a Sr. Java Lead who will be responsible for coordinating end to end delivery of API solutions working with different delivery teams and coordinating the solution design, development, testing and release management of the different delivery engagements. As a Technical Architect you will be working with a scrum team consisting of developers, testers, PO and scrum master. 

 

Your role will be responsible for technical solution and working with the teams to ensure the solutions are built and delivered and meet the delivery team: 

 

·         Collaborate with product and engineering to create compliance of APIs to the OpenAPI specification and standards 

·         Ensure end to end delivery of API following the security 

·         Designing new APIs and upgrading existing APIs to be compliant with standards 

·         Collaborate with product delivery teams to understand the solution and understand API use cases 

·         Manage the end to end delivery of the delivery engagements from solutioning , design, development, testing and deployment. 

 

Qualifications: 

·         Expert level experience with multiple API design approaches and best practices. 

·         Expert level experience with applying security best practices to API Platforms. 

·         OIDC, O OAuth/SAML, FAPI, open banking, MTLS - Experience in API management platforms like APIGEE .

·         Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills which help you talk to business and technical customers.

·         Experience setting up CI/CD Pipeline. 

·         Experience with API Testing methodologies. 

·         Strong understanding of API standards and technologies such as: WS*, JSON, REST, GraphQL etc. 

·         Experience with real-time and async API standards - Experience in OpenAPI standards 

·         Familiarity with agile software delivery methodologies such as Scrum 

·         Strong Knowledge of industry standard patterns, best practices in using technologies including Microservices and containers, Cloud, message streaming, REST and web services APIs 

·         Good understanding of public cloud environments (AWS or GCP)
