Responsibilities:
Utilize Pega CPM platform out of the box features, process flows, patterns and best practices to model the Enterprise Standards and Policies against the Plan business requirements to identify Security gaps and increased functionality.
Tie back to the Pega Product team and help clarify when requirements may be reusable
Work with the Plan business SMEs and project stakeholders to validate understanding of the business flows.
Collaborate with Lead System Architect, Application Development lead and Integration to ensure that requirements are achievable and identify any constraints.
Identify issues and dependencies that must be resolved in order for requirements to complete.
Collaborate with Lead System Architect, Application Development lead and Integration to identify alternative suggestions when issues/dependencies introduce a constraint; prepare materials to propose and facilitate those discussions.
Ensure that AppDev understands the application flow requirements and screen requirements.
Ensure that each topic is fully completed, while starting/preparing for new topics.
Develop and Support and appropriately SIT, UAT, Development, Training, Change Controls as needed throughout the life of the project.
Support customer facing meetings and discussions regarding scope, change controls, use of the Product, best practices, etc.
Qualifications:
Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Experience:
Experienced Business Architect who can work independently on detailed and complex tasks efficiently and quickly under time pressures with high accuracy rate.
A minimum of 5 years PRPC experience OR if CMBB qualified, A minimum of 3 years PRPC experience on large scale projects
Profound industry knowledge and experience
A minimum of 9-12 years of progressively responsible relevant experience in analysis, requirement gathering, design and development of enterprise application systems. * Minimum of 4 years of healthcare payer industry domain experience
A minimum of 2 or more years of experience and/or 2 full life cycle implementations of Pega, systems functioning in a Lead Business Architect role.
Advanced understanding of project methodologies (SDLC, RUP, Agile, and Scrum) and capability to communicate and adapt its policies and procedures.
Possess a strong understanding of PRPC and its main features
Possess a strong understanding of Pega s healthcare industry framework and those solutions that reside within that framework.
Strong focus on high quality deliverables across all phases including, identifying and optimally defining process flows and user interface use cases and requirements and drafts. Ability to capture and understand the business processes associated with the business problems being solved and the solutions to be implemented.
Ability to consult on test strategy, development of test plans and test cases.
Understands & leverages appropriate Methodology & DCO tools within Pega.
Strong communication skills, specifically the ability to communicate business requirements to the application architects.
Object Oriented (OO) experience.
Demonstrated leadership skills in the compilation, delivery and maintenance of all software development phases
Proficient in Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint software tools
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Ability to develop good, effective working relationships with customers through minimal contact
Exceptional attention to detail
Strong sense of urgency Required
Training and Education:
Bachelor s degree
PRPC Certifications:
Certified Methodology Black Belt (CMBB), Certified Business Architect (CBA), Certified System Architect (CSA)
Desired Training and Education:
Master s degree
