There is a need for a person able to review the SQL procedures, make improvements and also, Analyze the database to seek different options of improvement (indexes, partitions, logs)
Yes but more than a DBA, this person needs to have experience in SQL scripts
Client is having performance issues because of the huge amounts of data that they are managing, so need to have hands on Experience.
