Role: Embedded C/C++ Software Developer

Location: Auburn Hills, MI

Duration: Long Term Contract 

  

Technical/Functional Skills:

·         Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Electronics, electrical, software or similar discipline).

·         5+ years of experience in Embedded application development on Linux or QNX platform using C++

·         Shall be knowing some scripting language like Python.

·         Preferred to have Automotive Domain knowledge, specifically with communication protocols like Automotive ethernet and CAN-FD etc.

·         Should have good understanding of Functional safety concepts, shall have hands on implementing the ISO 26262 SW requirements.

·         Experience in leading a team

·         Highly organized with excellent attention to detail

·         Good understanding of the 'V' cycle and change management

·         Excellent Oral and written communication skills.

·         Well organized and good at understanding the big picture of the product and business

·         Experience with requirement management tools like IBM DOORS or PTC Integrity.

·         Experience using configuration management tools like PTC Integrity or PVS, SVN , CVS etc.

·         Experience of working in an international environment and willingness to travel abroad occasionally

 

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Develop Board Support packages on Embedded targets for ADAS systems.
• Work on Board bring up activities and issue debugging and resolution.
• Work on task Scheduling and load balancing of SoC cores.
• Implement Functional safety requirements for ADAS controllers.
• Manage the SW configurations and releases.
• Establish traceability between design and implementation, Implementation and Validation results.
• Shall be responsible for assigned module ownership and management

 

Education:

·         Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Electronics or Computer Science Engineering required.

·         Masters degree is preferred.
