Hi All,

We urgently need a Middleware Admin for one of our direct clients based in North Carolina.This is 100% onsite role and we need someone who has at least 2+ years of recent experience working with State Government programs.

NO H1Bs, but can represent any EAD, USC and GC 

****Local candidates in north carolina will get first preference****

Title: Middleware Admin 

Location: Durham NC (Hybrid) 

Duration: 12+ Months 

 

Pay: $50-55/hr all-inclusive 

 

This position will be responsible for performing tasks associated with the build and deploy processes for the client applications by preparing and executing build scripts and troubleshooting build related issues for the portfolio applications. This responsibility involves build activities for large number of different test, development and production environments utilized by the portfolio program applications. It encompasses web layer configurations, Red hat Linux/CentOS and Windows operating systems, the IBM WebSphere application configurations with clustering, IBM IHS Web servers, and other related products.

 

This resource will provide technical consultation to developers and solution engineers for branches & Merges, Maintenance of the environment and its statuses.

 

5+ years of expertise required with the belwo skill set: 

Knowledge and experience of administering J2EE applications in WebSphere Application Server 8/9, Apache Tomcat and Jboss

Knowledge and experience working with following operating systems: AIX, RHEL, and Windows Servers.

Knowledge and experience in J2EE-specific application hosting, including VM tuning, application tracing/debugging, and application deployment.

Knowledge and experience with J2EE application building/deployment techniques and tools including, but not limited to Ant, Maven, Ivy etc

Knowledge and experience in container resource configuration (JDBC, JMS, et al), and security configuration.
