Job Title: Web Methods Administrator

Location: 100% Remote

Duration: Long Term contract

 

Job Description:

 

The Contractor will assist the Enterprise Application Administration team in supporting the ESB System Upgrade Project and ESB-OMS Implementation Project

• Install/Upgrade the WebMethods integration platform to version 10.15.

• Migrate ESB Packages from the existing system to the new upgraded/installed system.

• Configure and maintain the webMethods integration platform and related components to ensure optimal performance and stability.

• Monitor webMethods system health, diagnose issues, and perform necessary troubleshooting to proactively address and resolve potential problems.

• Analyse webMethods system performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement performance enhancements to ensure efficient data flow and seamless operations.

• Collaborate with developers to provide technical support during the implementation and upgrade of the webMethods integration platform.

 

Mandatory Requirements

Five plus (5+) years of professional experience in administering, maintaining, and supporting Software AG webMethods Integration platform product suite.

 

Technical Requirements.

 

• Experience with the following webMethods suite components: Integration Server, API Gateway, Terracotta, Universal Messaging, Command Central, My webMethods Server, Trading Networks, Deplorer, webMethods Adapters (JDBC, SAP).

• Experience with Red Hat Linux 7, 8 or later.

• Experience with web services, APIs, and various integration protocols (e.g., HTTP, SOAP, REST).

• Ability to install, upgrade and configure webMethods system components.

• Ability to troubleshoot and resolves webMethods system problems.

• Ability to evaluate webMethods system performance and implement system improvement tunings.

• Ability to provide webMethods architecture recommendations and deployment strategies for system/landscape optimization.

• Ability to provide webMethods Administration services for new implementation or upgrade projects.

• Ability to work with SSL certificate keystores and trust stores on webMethods Integration servers.

• Ability to create and maintain documentation for system architecture, configurations, processes, and procedures.

 

Desirable Qualifications:

 

Software AG webMethods Certifications

Assumptions

Contractor will need to use SMUD issued VPN/Citrix.

Contractor needs to establish a dedicated login to SMUD system
