AMS Support Analyst

Longterm Contract
Our client is seeking an AMS Support Analyst .We're collaborating with a major automotive client in Detroit, and you'll be right at the heart of the action. This role requires working onsite three days a week in northern Detroit.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Strong analytical ability to quickly understand the issues, debug and arrive at solutions
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written both)
- Hands on, Self-driven, Solution oriented and Customer focused
- AMS support experience
- Ability to query the system logs and debug issues
- Understand System integration concepts and especially API specifications
- Ability to create flow diagrams to create an operational view of the functionality
- Good exposure to automotive domain, preferably in the area of connected vehicle
- Strong technical background demonstrating solid understanding of IT systems and ability to support them
- Develop and maintain accurate technical and user documentation
- Performing operational tasks like monitoring, analysis, reporting and prompt attention to issues
- Communications for any outages/incidents which affect the user community
- Co-ordination with internal and external stakeholders for driving the issues towards the closure
- Analyze incidents and come-up with improvement ideas to avoid incidents and reduce inflow
- Perform system administration tasks e.g. certificate management, product version tracking and upgrade support, etc.
- Any programming background is a plus
Qualifications:
Education and Years of Experience:
- 5+ years of experience
Required and Desired Skills/Certifications:
- Experience working in agile/scrum methodology
- Collaborated with cross-functional teams to define, design and ship new features
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy
