Job Title: Lead GCP Cloud Engineer

Location: Charlotte, NC (Onsite)

Position type: Long term Contract

 

Job Description:

Must have hands on experience in Java

Skills Targeted (compared to a general developer)

1) Cloud Experience (AKS prioritized, GCP )

2) Systems Engineering 

    - Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code

- Experience with cloud computing infrastructure (virtual networking, containers, runtime orchestration, API-driven web services [e.g. object storage, event management services])

3) Automation Engineering 

     - Business Process Engineering

- Systems Integration and Automation (e.g. multi-protocol, transactional event processing, batch, concurrency)

4) Software Development

- Microservices architecture and development experience

- Data design and database schema experience with structured and unstructured database systems

- DevOps experience

5) Platform Engineering

- cloud observability tools

- cloud resiliency

- critical application support in multi region architectures

6) Systems Design

- advertising services for enterprise consumption via API gateway

- knowledge of modern web application architectures and how they align with cloud native infrastructure
