Title                       : Developer Java, RCP Developer

Location               : Houston, TX

Duration              : 6 months Contract

 

 

1.    Lead/Senior developer Java, Must have RCP Developer Experience

 

Technical Skills :

·         Requires a bachelor's degree in Engineering. Masters is a plus.

·         7+ years of experience on relevant technologies

·         Recent Experience developing applications using the Eclipse RCP framework

·         Experience with Eclipse graphical frameworks: SWT, OSGi and JFace 

·         Experience with Java SWING migration to SWT useful

·         Systems concepts, including multithreading, remote procedure calls, compilation/translation, including parsing, optimization, and code generation. 

·         Client-side dynamic web technology (AJAX), including JavaScript, DHTML and DOM. 

·         Experience with databases like Oracle. SQL script writing skills.

 

Roles & Responsibilities :

·         Understand Software Requirements Specifications

·         Product development (defect fixing, enhancement and new development) and testing.

·         Should able to design UI using SWT and build plugins using eclipse RCP

·         Should understand the complex design aspects of Java (like various design patterns, application architecture design techniques etc.) and interact with customer on highly complex technical issues independently.
