Title: Solaris Administrator

Location: Torrance , CA

Duration:6+

 

Job Requirements:  

Level: Solaris L3+/SME

 

·         8+ years' experience in supporting Solaris system administration and expert in Operations and in troubleshooting skills.

·         Experience in Solaris 8/9/10

·         Exposure on Offshore and Onsite model and also need a Leadership Quality

·         Strong knowledge of VERITAS Volume Manager (VxVM) / VERITAS clustering (VCS 5,6) - MANDATORY

·         Strong Experience in LDOM

·         Experience in systems upgrades, package installation, jump-starting and configuration.

·         Strong knowledge and experience in file systems (UFS, NFS, Disk partitioning, file system tuning, auto mounts, NIS, DNS)

                Strong knowledge of zoning

               Able to write Shell and Perl scripts
                Good communication and interpersonal skills
                Sun certification is an advantage

 

We need a resource who is L3 in below technologies.

 

Solaris 9, 10

VCS 5,6

VxVM

SUN Cluster

LDOM

EMC Storage

EMC Powerpath

EMC SRDF

Red Hat Linux on virtualization
