Position: Business Analyst
Duration: Rensselaer, NY
Location: 24 Months.

Duties include but are not limited to:

1. Lead a team of developers to expand the current system.
2. Work with Business Analyst on analysis and logical design.
3. Perform complex VB.Net & PowerBuilder coding.
4. Assist with responding to Day Care data requests.
5. The individual in this position will work under the direction of a Project Manager.
6. Perform writing of complex stored procedures/triggers in an Oracle database utilizing PL/SQL
7. Lead and champion the upgrade of the system from PowerBuilder to .Net 4.5.
8. Responsible for designing and implementation the new .Net application as efficiently as possible with minimal user impact.

 

Candidates should have at least 84 months experience, and at least one of the following should apply:

·         Experience leading the technical aspects for large/complex applications utilizing N-Tier architecture.

·         Experience with PL/SQL writing packages, stored procedures and triggers.

·         Experience interfacing PowerBuilder applications with VB.Net systems.

·         Experience developing applications utilizing Web Services or WCF.

·         Experience directing/managing the technical development of web enabled PowerBuilder applications,

·         Associate's Degree. Proof of education is to be submitted with all responses.
