Job Title: Python Web Portal Developer / Location: Sunnyvale, CA / Duration: 6 - 12 months

This is building a web portal for a sort of test harness (not quite) or simulator (not quite) for
Responsibilities:

·         Write server-side code for web-applications, create highly scalable applications, and develop prototypes quickly.

·         Writing python tools to analyze system and test logs for diagnostic purpose.

·         Write tools to dynamically plot graphs based data provided.

·         Write python analytics tool to analyze data gather during tests and present them in easily accessible form via web.

·         Work on a dash board which can provide status of various test systems, system utilization, test results and test status

 Requirements:

·         Minimum of 5 years of solid GUI or server side web-application software development experience in Python

·         Understanding of object oriented concepts, using formal development methods. (Experience with agile/test driven methodologies a plus)

·         Experience with SQL

·         Experience with HTML, JavaScript, CSS, and jQuery

·         Develop robust, secure, complex, scalable, web applications

·         Expertise with all phases of the software development lifecycle, including requirements analysis, design, coding, testing, implementation, and support

·         Experience working with  Celery or  RQ or Redis or similar 

·         Work in a collaborative team environment

·         Excellent verbal and written skills

Desired Experience:

·         Test Automation,  Linux development

·         Experience with SQLAlchemy database programming

·         Application development experience using Linux, Apache, Django, Pyramid  technologies
