Title: Project Manager (E-Commerce)
Location: Boca Raton, FL
Duration: 6+ Months
Job Description: eCommerce Project Manager with mid-to-large scale project experience (1M +). Knowledge & experience in Agile & Waterfall, process mapping/improvement and functional knowledge in at least one area - Merchandising, Marketing, B2B, B2C, Supply Chain & IT.
Interfaces with both internal and external project team members and management teams. Ensures clear and concise project deliverables and receivables. Prepares and communicates project status to project team, management, and customer. Completes templates to standards. Knows and applies the elements of the project management discipline at a level of rigor appropriate to the project and the Office Depot environment: Integration, Scope, Time, Cost, Quality, Communications, Risk Management, Procurement.
Additional responsibilities include:
- Identifying roles and responsibilities of team members.
- Develops and documents project schedules, milestones, and budgets.
- Manages communications with project teams and management.
- Responsible for project reporting, managing scope, risk, and resources and ensures project goals and objectives are met within agreed upon time frames.
- Ability to lead cross-functional teams without authority and develop a shared sense of urgency to ensure project success
- Develop relationships and trust quickly
- Manage large-scale and complex projects through matrixed organizations, relaying on cross-functional departments to ensure project success
- Develops detailed project schedules, works with team to maintain / update schedules, integrates project plans into
other release schedules and works with teams to resolve discrepancies among schedules and availability conflicts
with resources.
Qualifications:
- Experience working with E-Commerce teams and delivering upon projects supporting E-commerce websites, related to Content Management, Customer Data Migrations, Supply Chain & Merchandising integration.
- Ability to be flexible while simultaneously progressing project management concepts and methods.
- Ability to assess and deliver appropriate level of detail and comfortable interacting at all levels of the organization.
- Understanding of technology concepts, trends, and capabilities.
- Self-starter who has the ability to navigate through ambiguity, resolve conflicts and anticipates roadblocks and prevents problems before they occur.
- 4 year degree or equivalent training and experience; plus 5 or more years PM experience.
- Knowledge in at least one area - Merchandising, Marketing, B2B, B2C, Supply Chain & IT
- Experience working in an Agile environment (preferably as a Scrum Master or Scrum Team Member).
- Experience working with Waterfall projects
- Experience working with Integration and/or M&A projects
- PMP, Six Sigma, ITIL or other related project and process improvement certifications
