Role: QA Lead

Location: Charlotte,NC

Duratio: 6+ Months

 

 

 Position: QA Lead

We are looking for a Lead for our QA practice who will work on various MDM and ETL projects..

Responsibilities:

 Work closely with business analysts, solution architects and development leads to spear head the testing efforts of the best-of-class MDM and ETL solutions

 Actively participate in business requirements gathering sessions and understand client requirements

 Actively participate in design review and code review meetings

 Create, present and get sign-offs for the test strategy, test plan, test scenario and test case documents

 Assist PM in planning and driving low level project tasks

 Mentor team of technical consultants and oversee their work items

 Create detailed test scenario and test case documents

 Perform Functional, Integration, Performance and Regression tests

 Perform test scenario/case reviews of the QA team

 Debug issues and provide recommendations to the development team

 Lead the Automation efforts and ensure the team adheres to the QA processes

 Collect Test Metrices and present them to clients

 Help recruit high quality resources for the QA practice

 Train junior technical resources in QA technologies

 Lead QA practice members in executing various practice initiatives

 

Requirements/Qualifications:

• Flexibility for 100% travel, mostly within North America

• 8+ years of experience in software services

• Big 4 experience a strong plus

• Strong expertise in QA concepts is required

• Automation skills using shell scripts and open source/commercial tools is a must

• Strong SQL skills, Java and Web Services testing a must

• Experience with Unix flavors preferred

• Some business analysis experience is a big plus

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential

• Strong problem solving skills and analytical ability is essential
