Position: Project Manager ( Tolling applications)
Duration:: Contract
Location: German Town , MD
Job Description:
JD:
He/she should have worked on 'Tolling' related applications in USA or other countries.
Experience in testing applications using manual test methodologies.
Excellent understanding of Quality Assurance process and methodologies
Strong technical and testing skills. Knowledge of various software testing strategies and approaches.
Strong communication skills.
Good experience in Test Management, Test Strategy, Test Planning and people handling.
Strong delivery background of planning, estimating and execution of Functional and Integration Testing.
Good Presentation Skills
Analyzing and Reviewing functional and technical documentation to determine test requirements and test conditions
Identify, create and execute functional and regression test cases for validating requirements and user acceptance criteria
Peer reviews of testing documentation
Investigating test failures, creating defect reports and verifying fixes are resolved in within a timely manner
Coordinating with different teams as needed for defect notification, tracking, and resolution
Working collaboratively with QA team members and other departments to identify and resolve issues, implement test strategies and respond to Quality Assurance questions
Training and Communicating test processes and procedures
Answering project business process team member's questions
Mapping test cases to requirement and process documents
Training and Communicating with off-shore testing teams as needed
Leading the generation of Quality Assurance status reports and update communications
Working knowledge of quality tools
Provide advice and solutions to solve problems and improve efficiency especially related to QA and testing.
Performs defect logging, resolution, quality checks, and reporting processes and helps project teams efficiently resolve defects and retest satisfactorily
Assists with manual test activities (planning, scheduling, test case creation, and test case execution)
Assist in conducting daily test status meetings
Hold and facilitate test case reviews with cross-functional team members
Identify any potential quality issues per defined process and escalate potential quality issues immediately to management
Experience with onshore and offshore quality assurance and development team coordination
Ability to handle multiple assignments and superior organization skills
Requires little supervision, can work independently and collaboratively, helps set direction for others
