Release management with Production Operations

Location  : Waltham, MA

Duration  : Contract

 

 

JD:  Consultant with experience in release management and Production Operations (Overall 8+ years of experience with 3+ years of Release management and 3+ years of Production Operations experience)

 

Must have skills:

•        Coding/Scripting experience with any of Puppet, Jenkins, ZenOSS, Splunk, and other open source tools that support cloud deployment and DevOps functions.

•        Ability to use a wide variety of open source technologies and tools

•        Experience with systems and IT operations

•        Data base and data management skills

•        Experience with event reporting and incident management

•        Experience with having supported a 24x7 cloud based service is required

•        Triaging in a production environment is required

 

Desired Skills:

•        Comfort with frequent, incremental code testing and deployment

•        A strong focus on business outcomes

•        Collaboration, open communication and reaching across functional borders

•        Disciplined execution and tracking skills
