1. Project description (Please do not use EY specific acronyms) [The project is to deliver an accounting knowledge base leveraging SharePoint 2013 as a starting point.  The knowledge base will be used as a demonstration tool by business profesisonal services resources as they interact with client resources on potential opportunities.  The knowledge base will also act as designware for end client implementation. The business will add and update content in the tool on an ongoing basis.  The FAAS business organization will  participate directly in the configuration and development of the structure and capabilities of the knowledge base.  The ultimate use of the knowledge base is to provide direction to client accounting personnel on how to process certain types of accounting entries.  The knowledge base content will provide both client accounting procedures and EY expert guidance on the handling of certain accounting transactions and on the application of regulatory rules such as GAAP or IFRS.  The concept is to link this expert knowledge to certain accounts and to the entry of certain accounting transactions (in the financial system) to provide both expert advice and "scripted" instructions on completing the transaction in a compliant manner.   A prototyping approach will be used to develop the solution.  All resources on this project must have the ability to work in a highly interactive, iterative development approach.  All team members must be capable of interacting with business resources and have the self direction and maturity to work in this less formal, less structured environment ]

2. Please give a high level explanation of the application or technology that this candidate would work. [Sharepoint 2013, .Net, Visual Studio, TFS]

3. Description of day to day tasks (please be as descriptive as possible). [-  Reviewing Business and Functional Requirements -  Assist with installation of SharePoint development environment -  Coordinate with Data Center, Infrastructure Engineers as needed -  Install SharePoint 2013 -  Configure/setup SharePoint 2013 -  Administer SharePoint 2013 -  Develop extensions and customizations to SharePoint 2013 (MOST OF WORK) - Work with Architect to determine solutions that meet business requirements - Develop prototype of Accounting Knowledge Base/WIKI using SharePoint 2013, .Net, Visual Studio, and SQL (MOST OF WORK) -  Technical expertise with SharePoint 2013 and .Net to resolve design and development issues without help (MOST of WORK) - Test developed solution and correct errors - Enhance prototype in follow on iterations -  Presenting and demonstrating solutions to business users/SMRs in a prototyping/iterative approach -  Interacting with business technical resource as prototype is developed -  Challenging business assertions about solution and providing recommended alternate solutions -  Deep knowledge of how to setup, configure, and administer SharePoint 2013. -  Deep knowledge of how to enhance/extend SharePoint 2013 using .Net, SQL, and Visual Studio.  -  Specific, SIGNIFICANT, PRIOR experience with SharePoint 2013 and the enhancement of SharePoint 2013 using Visual Studio and .Net tools is required. -  Experience using TFS -  Must be a SENIOR and MATURE resource able to develop solutions in an unstructured, new environment -  Must have SUPERIOR ENGLISH LANGUAGE SKILLS with the ability to interact directly with business resources as part of the prototyping effort -  Note that section C represents the minimal skills required for the role.  Submitting a resource will the low end of the range for every skill will likely not meet our needs.  Resources with experience levels above the range are welcomed.    ]
