Job Description:
Description of Engagement: This is a 12 month contract supporting WebSphere BPM, DataPower, MQ and WAS applications.
looking for someone with recent hands on integration development experience with WebSphere Integration Developer(WID) and/or IBM Integration Designer(IID), Java Web Services & Datapower Development.
General Responsibilities
Proactively partner with key IT stakeholders and other business units
Understand and be a strong advocate for IT standards and future strategic direction.
Meet or exceed internal audit, Corporate Governance and business ethics requirements.
Develop an understanding of business issues and goals in order to use IT consulting skills to provide the business with appropriate technical solutions.
Provide mentoring and support, as the opportunities arise, to entry level IT staff and the user community in general.
Build and work within collaborative team environments to achieve team goals.
Identify and address conflict in working relationships.
Demonstrate and create a respectful work environment.
Experience and Skills Requirements:
A minimum of 4 years of experience with SOA, process orchestration and integration solutions
Experience with IBM Process Server, WebSphere Application Server, WebSphere MQ, WebSphere DataPower, Integration developer is required.
Experience with Java EE, Web Services, REST services, XML, XSD, XSLT, Oracle, SQL Server
Knowledge of Agile development framework and practices.
Experience working in a utility industry and understanding of utility industry business processes and regulatory requirements is a plus.
Experience using source code control tools
Strong verbal and written communication skills. Demonstrated formal presentation skills are a plus
Preferred 6 - 8 years design, programming, and debugging experience while developing business applications.

This is an Information Technology WebSphere Developer position supporting the enterprise. Responsibilities include: providing efficient, reliable, cost-effective code that meets defined business requirements that accomplish corporate goals and objectives.
