• Design, develop and test ETL processes using Pentaho and other ETL tools as necessary to bring in all needed data sources for the organization.
• Deploy ETL processes from development through production including all needed environments.
• Help develop architecture and solutions for overall BI platform, involving Cognos, and/or Pentaho, Informatica, Teradata, or other BI applications.
• Experience with scripting languages such as Python, Bash, Perl, etc.
• Experience creating Restful API’s.
• Researches, writes and edits documentation and technical requirements, including software designs, evaluation plans, test results, technical manuals and formal recommendations and reports.
• Ensure high data quality standards are maintained and continuously improve metrics collection practices and processes.
• Partner with team members and business leaders to analyze qualitative and quantitative data to identify improvement opportunities
• Develop continuous improvement standards and practices to enhance any existing reporting dashboards
• Define business requirements for implementation and maintenance of data warehouse and business intelligence.
• Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics;
• 5+ years’ experience in the business intelligence area with ETL development.
• Any experience in the business intelligence area with DataStage ETL development would be plus.
