Job Title: Cloud Big Data Engineer

Location: Mclean, VA

Duration: 6 Months contract

 

What You'll Get to Do:

§  Will work on Hadoop background - Hive, Yarn, HDFS, Spark

§  Will work on Talend

§  Work closely with Manager to understand needs around client stakeholder management

§  Demonstrate a passion for learning and willingness to adopt new technologies

§  Contribute to a culture of innovation, ideas, and continuous improvement along with a great attitude, solid communication skills, willingness to learn and collaborate

§  Ensure clear documentation of created/modified functionality

§  You will also be responsible for interfacing and influencing with the business lines as well as others across IT

 

What You'll Bring with You:

§  5+ yrs. experience developing complex applications using AWS and Hadoop, 

§  Experience with Hadoop background - Hive, Yarn, HDFS, Spark

§  Experience using Talend

§  Experience developing and optimizing ingestion frameworks on distributed platforms

§  Experience Streaming and Change Data Capture experience (Kafka, Qlik Replicate)

§  Experience in using CI/CD pipelines, packaging

§  Willing to work with the team and other developers across the company to continuously improve our approach to development

§  Strong critical thinking skills

§  Excellent communication skills - the ability to liaise with and influence a range of internal and external stakeholders

§  Bachelor degree preferred

Job Title: Java Backend Developer with DevOps Experience

Location: Mclean, VA

Duration: Long Term Contract

Min: 9 Years of Exp Required

 

Required Skills:

·         Java Backend Development

·         Spring and Spring Boot

·         Cucumber for Automation Testing

·         Pipeline creation and experience in using Jenkins

·         Mongo DB

·         Kubernetes, Docker

·         Knowledge of AMQ, Kafka

·         Gradle, Maven experience

·         DevOps

 

What You'll Get to Do:

·       Perform hands-on Java Development, adoption of modern software engineering & delivery practices using Java Backend, Spring, Spring Boot, DevOps, API testing with Cucumber and Mongo DB

·       Work closely with Manager to understand needs around client stakeholder management

·       Demonstrate a passion for learning and willingness to adopt new technologies

·       Contribute to a culture of innovation, ideas, and continuous improvement along with a great attitude, solid communication skills, willingness to learn and collaborate
