Role: Sr. Systems Analyst
Location: Columbia, SC
Duration: 12+ Months
In this project, this position will support application systems analysis and programming activities in Content Management Team.
Your future duties and responsibilities
The Sr. Systems Analyst will work with a team of systems analysts, project managers, and/or other technical resources charged with developing technical requirements and documenting them for application development project(s). The Senior Systems Analyst will work with the business unit or other subject matter experts to identify or refine technical requirements for applications under development or being revised.
Required qualifications to be successful in this role
- Minimum of 5+ years of relevant experience
- Knowledge and experience with Agile methodology.
- Experience writing user stories and acceptance criteria.
- Good communication skills (oral and written) and teaming skills.
- In-depth knowledge of PC usage and related software packages
- Understanding of databases and SQL querying
- In-depth understanding of the SDLC
- Strong analytical skills
- Understand/document applications in production w/respect to the process and data flow
- Ability to comprehend the upstream and downstream impact of the application
Desired qualifications
- Experience with content management tools
Educational Requirement
Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related field
