**Job Description**

Project: Collibra Initiative - Enterprise Data Governance Platform:

• Collibra has been selected to be the enterprise-wide Data Governance platform given its ability to load data catalogue information and organize and manage Metadata and Data lineage across Data stores.

• The primary goal is to use Java programming to visualize lineage data/technical metadata as well as identify change data capture information between scans

• The secondary goal is to use Java programming to ingest the technical metadata into the QuickBase repository

 

**Responsibilities**

We are seeking an experienced, self-motivated Java Developer with experience leveraging RESTful APIs with knowledge of object-relational mapping, experience with server-side logic, and above-average knowledge of Java programming and expertise in:

• Writing scalable code using Java programming language.

• Testing and debugging applications

• Developing front-end components

• Integrating user-facing elements using server-side logic

• Application changes: code packages, post implementation verifications

• Participation in group meetings (including Business Partners) on problem solving, decision making and implementation planning

• Implement end to end metadata, lineage and data quality solutions

• Support all phases of the project development lifecycle using Agile and other project methodologies

• Applying software development best practices

 

**Senior Java Developer- Mandatory Skills**     

• At least 8+ years of Java programming

• Experience with RESTful /API 3+ years

• Expert knowledge of Java and related frameworks SpringBoot

• Knowledge of object-relational mapping (ORM)

• Running Docker Containers

• Experience with major RDBMSes, SQL Server

• Experience with front-end technologies (like Angular, JavaScript with jQuery)

• Ability to integrate multiple data sources into a single system
