Job Title: Mobile Test Engineer

Location: Tampa, FL

Duration: Long Term contract

Rate: $50/hr on C2C/1099

 

Mobile Test Engineer Responsibilities:

·         Testing mobile devices to ensure their configuration, operation, and capabilities work efficiently.

·         Developing automated test scripts and frameworks for improved mobile app performance.

·         Updating operating systems, specifically iOS and Android

·         Producing clear and concise test reports and releasing notes when needed

·         Providing feedback to development teams on technical, troubleshooting, or operational issues.

·         Assisting with the configuration of test environments.

·         Suggesting new processes and policies to improve mobile development techniques.

 

Mandatory/ Important skills- 

·         Experience in API, SQL, Joins & API testing

·         Experience in Writing effective SQL queries and Joins

·         Experience in working on the test management tools like JIRA, ALM etc

·         Knowledge on Waterfall and Agile Methodology & Software Testing Life Cycle

·         Ability to analyze defects and provide root-cause analysis.

·         Experience in the Creation and execution of Test Scenarios, Test Cases, and Test Data

·         Should possess good verbal and written communication skills.

·         Should be proficient in Customer and Stakeholder interaction

·         Should possess strong analytical, problem solving, and troubleshooting abilities with quick adaptation to new technology, methodologies, and systems

·         Should be flexible to work as functional tester

 

Mobile Test Engineer Requirements:

·         At least four years' experience in mobile application testing and development.

·         Working knowledge of mobile operating systems such as iOS and Android.

·         Experience in developing automated test scripts.

·         Experience in using configuration management or version control tools.

·         Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

·         Ability to meet challenging deadlines and work in a fast-paced environment.
