Role: Scrum Master

Location: Lafayette, LA

Duration: 12+ Months

 

Your future duties and responsibilities

• Can server as a Scrum Master for two teams
• Proficiency in JIRA and Confluence
• Has experience generating reports and metrics which can improve agile maturity
• Has experience coaching teams to improve collaboration and self-organization
• Utilizes team feedback to identify areas of opportunity and improve team efficiency and delivery
• Helps teams pro-actively identify impediments and recommends solutions to remove impediments
• Prior experience as a project manager, systems analyst or developer
• Serve as an Agile Expert who is responsible and drives the team to deliver releases.
• Engage stakeholders, contributors and technical resources to get stuff done.
• Contribute and drive team to Agile Maturity goals and DEV OPS goals.
• Facilitate scrum ceremonies for the team (Daily Stand-up, Planning, Retrospective, Grooming & Review/Demo).
• Track and produce key metrics (e.g., burndown, burnup, cumulative flow, velocity, etc.)

 

Required qualifications to be successful in this role

• 6+ years of experience leading Agile Scrum teams/serving as a Scrum Master in a Large Scale enterprise environment.
• Experience with DevOps and/or AWS related projects
• Agile experience/knowledge of key agile techniques including SAFe, Kanban, and Scrum
• Strong negotiation and influencing skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• High energy, right attitude and proven ability to get things done
• Prior experience as a project manager, systems analyst or developer
