AutoSAR BSW Sr. Engineer/Lead

Exp: 5 – 8 Years

Location: Auburn Hills, MI

 Key Responsibilities - 

  1. Configuration of AUTOSAR Classic Stacks (experience with ETAS ISOLAR (or BOSCH) tool chain is preferred, else Vector da Vinci or Mentor)
  2. Multi-core development (experience with AURIX 39x is preferred)
  3. Design of complex device drivers (preferred)
  4. Autosar RTE configuration experience.
  5. Knowledge in Memory programming (Memory Stack)
  6. Capture and analysis of software requirements
  7. Develop and integrate embedded Software for subsystem and vehicle level ECUs
  8. Develop Architectural and detailed designs including Technical Safety Concept for Software (SW) 
  9. Ensure compliance to internal and external standards including functional safety
  10. Implement and apply SW using state-of-the art methods and tools
  11. Verify SW Design and code by review, static analysis, unit testing, etc.
  12. Prepare and deliver SW-components for integration
  13. Plan and execute Software Integration (including Configuration Management)
  14. Support SW-PL on detailed planning and team coordination
  15. Analyze Defects and Changes

Skills:

  • University Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or comparable qualification
  • Experience in embedded SW and AutoSAR. Understanding of AutoSAR stack, components, and tools environment
  • Strong experience of Integration of AUTOSAR stack from Vector, ETAS, and EB
  • Strong technical knowledge in solutioning of memory protection architecture, inverter ECU SW, and for ECU architecture definition
  • 3+ years of experience in software engineering for embedded software in automotive
  • Experience with AUTOSAR complex device driver development and integration of AUTOSAR stacks
  • Experience of Autosar Communication modules (PDUR, Com, Can, CanTp, CanTrv, CanIF, CanM, NM, CanNM, CanFM, ComM) SW configuration and development using AutoSAR specific tool. Strong knowledge and experience of CAN/CAN FD or LIN protocol.
  • Hands on programming experience with C
  • Experience with the following tool: ETAS ISOLAR, embedded debugging tools, Vector Tools CANalyzer / CANoe (or vector da Vinci or Mentor Tooling also possible)
  • Experience with communication middleware
  • Hands-on experience of network setup
  • Experience of having led architect teams working on customer projects 
  • Executing development and integration of AUTOSAR BSW on complex ECUs with many stake holders and global teams
  • Hands on experience in developing technical architecture, integration processes and configuration of AUTOSAR BSW
  • Experience of MCAL integration in the AUTOSAR BSW and the tailoring of the MCAL to meet the project needs
